The Nittany Lions were not just beating themselves, they were beating their own reputation by doing so. But it would be an understatement to say that Penn State’s offense has been anything but dominant this season. So what is Penn State’s offense? It seems to me that the answer is obvious. Penn State’s offensive line has been very good against the run (12th in the nation) and while they are not great against the pass (20th), they have been pretty good at both as well. The offense certainly isn’t up there with the top offenses in the country, but it does hold its own when compared to the other teams in the Big Ten. The offense hasn’t been perfect, but it should be commended for having done things right thus far. A couple of points on Penn State’s offense: 1. The Buckeyes played a very physical game for most of the game, but the Nittany Lions made it interesting by hitting some big plays down the stretch.
